Wow! I've done it! I've made my very first webpage! Well, HOOOWWW-DEEE-DOOO! ha ha!

Ok, sorry, I'm very proud of my hard work. So what do you think? Does it look ok? Do you think other people will like it? I'm so nervous! This means I'm REALLY in business! I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am and how happy this makes me!

So, I guess you might be interested to know a little about me, huh? Well, my name is Tara. I am THE Slick Chic! :) I am first and foremost an imperfect child of God. I am trying to make my way in this crazy world. I am a single mom, working full time in big corporate America, and part time as a Young Living Essential Oils distributor, and also a Beachbody coach. I live in Louisiana, but I was born and raised a Yankee. (If you're from the south, you know that makes me a "damn" Yankee"!)

I do need to make a few things clear and let you know what I am NOT. I am not a doctor. I cannot diagnose, treat, or cure you from any diseased state. I am not a licensed therapist or counselor. Everything I share with you on this page is based solely on my own personal experience, or information I have found through research. If you have a medical condition, please seek medical assistance. :) We are all grown-ups here, responsible for our own health.

Ok, now that we have all of that out of the way!

On to content... On this site, it is my intent to share with you what I have found to work for me! I will share my knowledge, experience, and trials. Feel free to ask anything you want! I will answer any questions I can and hope to inspire you to find new ways to take care of yourself, mind, body, and soul!

And the heart of my purpose here is this: I believe God created us and everything on this earth. I believe that everything we need to maintain healthy minds, bodies, and spirits are available to us via the earth. This is why I believe in essential oils. This is why I believe in exercise (even though I don't always like the latter!) Man-made products, while convenient, are not without side effects. So, as a single, working mother who can't live off of the land 24x7x365, who has to live and deal in this crazy world, I have to find ways for my children and I to live healthy lives without breaking the bank and while still having time to make the most out of my life and my time.

And my desire is to share what I learn with you!

I am happy to share with you in MANY ways! If you are local (Northeast, LA), I can do a class in your home, we can do a class in my home, or a class at the library. If you prefer, we can set up a one on one meeting at a local coffee shop. You can contact me via the "contact me" page set up on this website. My email address is also published here.
